The renaissance of Polish craftsmanship, the New European Bauhaus, the green transformation of the real estate market and resetting cities. These are the main themes of this year’s edition of 4 Design Days, which will be held on 27-30 January at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. Many interesting meetings and discussion panels with architects, urban planners and designers will await the participants this year. – This is the only such event in this part of Europe. We invite all enthusiasts of good architecture and design who want to broaden their knowledge on current trends or are looking for inspiration in furnishing their homes, offices and other commercial interiors – says Robert Posytek, the author of 4 Design Days program.
During several dozen panel sessions, experts will discuss the directions in which contemporary architecture and design are developing. One of the leading topics will be devoted to the renaissance of Polish handicraft. Handicraft has been growing in strength on the Polish market for a good few years now. Cheap and mass products are already passé, and consumers are more and more consciously turning their attention to genuinely crafted products. Although it requires effort and additional costs, the choice of craftsmanship pays off not only for us, but also for the planet. How to support the Polish craft market? How to build business and effectively promote your brand? Is it easy to be a creator in Poland? The guests of the event will talk about these issues.
Another important topic that will appear during this year’s edition of 4 Design Days is the New European Bauhaus – a project of hope for finding a way to live together better after the pandemic. Together with invited experts and designers we will talk about the realisation of this interesting idea.
