Sundown by Maja Ganszyniec collection on the new Paradyż Ceramics base

Red clay is one of the most popular and traditional building materials. It was the starting point for Ceramika Paradyż’s next project after Modernizm and Neve Creative with Maja Ganszyniec’s studio – the Sundown clinker collection, which can be found in the brand’s latest product database.

The versatile material clinker has been given a completely new look. Most importantly, the latest production features have been added. As a result, clinker is no longer an easily absorbent, moisture-absorbing building material. It is now durable and extremely resistant, so that it can be used not only in interiors, but also to decorate building facades, build terraces, garden elements or fireplace surrounds.

Five tile formats are available to make all those designs: a long brick (24.5×6.6 cm), sill (24.5×13.5 cm), squares (30×30 and 33×33 cm) and a stair tread with drip (30×33 cm). Tile colours are inspired by the original, organic appearance of clay, i.e. the material being the inspiration and foundation of the collection.  All the shades go with the natural tones perfectly. Although clear and strong, they emphasize the beauty of the designs and their surroundings. The diverse tile surface enables to create interesting play of light and to make selected areas and interspersing them with unique textures. Besides a natural, smooth matt surface, you can choose subtle matt structure, a delicate and smooth shiny one and a bold, deep and shiny structure.

The traditional feel of the collection makes it possible to restore old buildings and interiors, recreating a classic atmosphere or pre-war charm. A modern approach to a well-known raw material also opens up the possibility of creating completely new and contemporary projects: interiors, facades, small architecture and public spaces.
