This may be one of the most important events of the year in the design industry! The Tubądzin Design Awards, an international competition for architects, designers and students, is soon to be launched. Participants will get a chance to show how they imagine everyday life, modernity and art in architecture.
At TDA, we ensure that the rules of the competition are transparent, that the jury’s criteria are objective and that the benefits offered to the winners are valuable. Our goal is to build a community that follows the challenges imposed by modern times and, at the same time, is able to meet global challenges. For this reason, the 4th edition of the TDA competition is guided by three hashtags: #life, #culture and #human – say the competition organisers.
The competition takes place in four categories. A Grand Prix can be won in each of them.
Young Power is a category in which architecture, interior design or design students (under 30) will compete.
Everyday Design – in this category, the best design of a public or private space, bathroom, living room or kitchen interior will be awarded.
Unlimited Architecture – a category dedicated to cubic architecture, tile objects, facades and unusual applications of ceramic tiles.
CultureFORM – in this category, projects in the cultural space can be submitted. It is dedicated to all groups of participants.
In this year’s edition the chairman of the jury will be Allan Starski – world-famous production designer, winner of an Oscar for the decoration of “Schindler’s List” (1993). The total value of prizes in the competition is 78,000 euros!
Competition entries can be submitted from 1 March 2022. More information about the competition can be found here. More information about this year’s Tubądzin Design Awards can be found on the organiser’s website.
